Unlike developed countries, people in poor countries lack or have low health services accessibility and Horn of Africa are no exception. To bridge this need and with generosity of our sponsors, Raays Foundation offers free medical services such as prenatal care for mothers and pediatric care for children and other primary health care including interventions that focus on the individual or family such as hand-washing and immunization in the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia. Raays Foundation educates mothers to be self-sufficient in minimizing problems associated with lack of primary health care. Currently we collect resources and gather medical supplies for onward shipment to local the communities in Ethiopia. A number of other projects are also in the pipeline, including the construction of a hospital that is completed in 2014.
