Improving basic livelihoods

Beyond education, health and women empowerment, people in Horn of Africa lack food, water, sanitation, and other livelihoods. Raays Foundation works to enhance access to quality and quantity water for human and agricultural activities in Horn of Africa and to empower the local communities through provision of capacity building training in areas of modern farming technologies and water harvesting practice to promote farming. It also has strategic objective of promoting access to a good hygiene practice and sound sanitation services, as well as to enhance food security through promoting agricultural farming as means of improving livelihood and food security.
