RAAYS and ARAHA partner life camping aim to enhance the self-reliance and resilience of vulnerable women in the Kismayo area by providing them with the tools, training, and resources needed to build sustainable livelihoods.

Kismayo has seen a significant influx of internally displaced persons, particularly women, who have fled conflict, recurrent drought and floods. These women face immense challenges in meeting their basic needs and achieving economic stability.

Empowering these women in Kismayo is crucial for breaking the dependency cycle and fostering long-term resilience in these communities. By supporting our campaign, you are helping to provide resources like vocational training, financial assistance for small businesses and essential support services that will enable these women to become self-sufficient and support their families.

$50: Provides materials for a woman to start a small garden to grow nutritional vegetables,

$100: Funds a week of vocational training in tailoring, baking, or handicrafts.

$200: Supports a micro-grant for a woman to start her own small business,

$500: Equips a group of women with the tools and resources to establish a cooperative or VSLA.
